He obtained his Bachelor of Science Major in Accountancy degree from De La Salle University. He finished his Juris Doctor degree from Ateneo De Manila University Law School last 2008 and subsequently passed the Bar Examinations of the same year.

He gained his experience in handling corporate matters, including accounting concerns, when he worked for Isla, Lipana & Company (PRICE,WATERHOUSE, COOPERS) as an Associate Auditor, which exposed him to different industries. He served as President of Rural Bank of San Rafael, Bulacan, Inc. until 2012. He used to teach as a professor of the Bulacan State University Law School.

He is active in the community. He is a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) and the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA). He is also a Legal Specialist of the Ateneo School of Government devoted to fight corruption in our government.

He likewise serves as consultant to the Philippine Postal Savings Bank, Inc., and Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office.
